In his discourse, Acharya Samrat Dr. Shri Shivmuni Ji M.S. stated that the soul is ageless, immortal, and indestructible; the soul and the body are distinct entities. When a spiritual seeker gains this perspective, they progress from Dharma Dhyan (virtuous contemplation) to Shukla Dhyan (pure contemplation). They then cease to be concerned with trivial matters. One who knows the soul knows the universe; one who knows the universe knows Karma; one who knows Karma knows action—thus, everything begins with the soul.

Acharya Bhagavan further stated that when a person awakens from the slumber of attachment (Moh), the pathways for the influx of Karma are closed off. A person who is self-restrained, wise, capable of discerning the distinction between the self and the non-self, and who knows their true self, is truly awake. An awakened person is not held captive by the senses; they experience the self through the self and become absorbed within the soul. Lord Mahavira has stated in the Shri Uttaradhyayan Sutra that amidst those who are asleep, a wise person must remain vigilant.

He remarked that Time (Kaal) is merciless; one never knows what might happen next. Just as a tiger might pounce and snatch a deer from a herd—leaving the others helpless to intervene—similarly, when one’s destined lifespan (Ayushya) concludes, Time arrives to claim the soul while family members can only look on. The body holds no sway against the span of life; the body is frail, and Time is merciless.

Citing the example of the Bharanda bird, he explained that this bird possesses two heads: one used for observation and the other for consuming food. The Bharanda bird remains constantly vigilant against potential attacks. Just as a driver remains alert to their surroundings while driving, or a doctor remains focused and vigilant while performing surgery on a patient, a spiritual seeker must remain vigilant at all times. One should constantly strive to avoid accumulating the burden of karma and dedicate oneself to diminishing the Karman body (karmic matter).

In his address, Pramukh mantri Shri Shirish Muni Ji M.S. stated that true forgiveness lies in maintaining purity of thought even when faced with triggers that could incite anger. A spiritual seeker who remains anchored in their true nature despite the presence of such triggers achieves Samvar (the stoppage of the influx of karma). If, upon feeling anger, one reflects—”A past karma has surfaced to trigger this anger; why should I react with hostility?”—and holds this thought within, that state represents the spirit of forgiveness.

Sahmantri Shri Shubham Muni Ji M.S. presented a bhajan (devotional song) titled “Zindagi mein hazaron se mela juda, hans jab-jab uda wo akela uda” (In life, one mingles with thousands, yet the swan always takes flight alone).

Ascetics observing penances such as Upvas (fasting), Ekasan (eating a single meal a day), and Ayambil (eating a specific simple meal once a day) via online platforms took their Pratyakhyan (solemn vows of renunciation).
